Uni-Bro is a mixture of a word ‘University’ and ‘Brothers’.
Uni-Bro is the ‘Global Online Broadcasting Media Center’, one and only in the world. Consisted of University student reporters around the world, we collect information and post updates about university student’s grand festival Universiade and FISU conference and it’s many aspects with the stance of an university students. From here everyone can see what’s going on in the event with their mobile devices and internet.

We have established Online Media Broadcasting Center ‘Uni-Bro’ in order to provide useful information about the Universiade to the university students throughout the world during 12 days of Gwangju 2015 Summer Universiade period. We expect all the other countries university students to be here in Gwangju through our online service and feel the heat of the event.
Worldwide Youth Grand Festival, New Dawn of ‘U-Media’
University students from all around the world will cover stories of international sports forum ‘FISU Conference’(7.11.2015 – 7.14) with a stance of university student, making it viable to share information through mobile device and internet. We’ll post articles and update as something comes up, but also upload videos on Youtube about it. By doing so, we believe we can make Universiade a ‘Grand Youth Festival of World.’.
Establishing ‘Global Youth Network of Hope’
Gwangju Universiade’s ongoing events and news will be delivered in a real-time. But also we’ll make a ‘Global Youth Network of Hope’ where we, the university students can discuss about global issue, share our feeling and cultural base over the internet.

Realizing ‘EPIC’ Vision
We’re spreading Gwangju 2015 Summer Universiade’s slogan ‘Light up Tomorrow’ and ‘EPIC’(Eco, Peace, IT, Culture) vision to the world. And offer a chance to let university students to discuss about UN’s Millenium Development Goals, finding an ideal way to solve the ongoing problem of 21st Century. We believe we can write an EPIC history by giving a creative spot for them.
Creating ‘ICT-KOREA’, New Korean Cultural Wave
Through ‘Uni-Bro’, we higher up the reputation of Korea as an ‘ICT Superpower’. Furthermore, we introduce various contents of Korea like Korean tradition, arts, tourism attraction, and K-POP. We will also be spreading a news about ‘Asian Culture Complex’ in central hub of Asian culture, Gwangju, and cause a new wave of Korean culture to the world. And those who dream journalist as their future goal will have a chance to cover this ‘Mega Sports Event’ in the field and higher up their skills as a journalist.
Establishing and Cultivating ‘Global I-UN Community’
Celebrating Universiade’s 91st Anniversary, university students founded LTE Online Broadcasting Center that has mobility. From here we will have a chance to establish a spot called ‘Global I-UN(Internet University Network) Community’ where we can make ‘Global Citizenship’ come true, by performing continuous maintenance and thoroughly planned administration.
